Overview

The Arcadia Huff® Fire and Smoke Louvre is an automatic roof and wall ventilator purpose engineered for exhausting heat and smoke. Whilst providing an economical solution for automatic fire venting, the Arcadia Huff® Louvre has been extensively used in building design to provide natural ventilation, comfort and allow the entry of day light. When closed the Huff® ventilator prevents rain entry and minimizes heat loss in winter. Huff® Ventilators can be operated via a range of pneumatic, electric and manual control systems interconnected with Control box, manual over-ride and failsafe systems.

The Huff® ventilator has undergone exhaustive testing at internationally recognised testing laboratories in strict conformity with the relevant Australian Standards. Arcadia can assist Fire engineers, mechanical engineers and architects to provide a guaranteed ventilation solution based on our tested and approved products.

Huff® R

The Huff® Roof Ventilator is the market leader for use in applications to manage Smoke & fume release. This ventilator is an engineered operable louvre system which can be controlled by fire rated pneumatic or electrical system and can provide fail safe open and close functions to suit requirements of fire engineers. The Huff operable louvre is integrated into buildings as part of a Fire & Smoke management plan to exhaust smoke in the unfortunate event of fire. This system can be linked to BMS, Fire management systems, rain sensors or heat detectors and is fully tested to AS2665 and AS2428. This ventilator is used in Workshops, Hangars, Defence projects, Storage facilities and distribution centres.

Huff® W

The Huff® Wall Ventilator is used for providing efficient inlet air to support the Roof Ventilators. This ventilator is an engineered operable louvre system which can be controlled electrically, manually or pnuematically. The Louvre is used in areas of extreme heat or as part of a Fire & Smoke management plan to exhaust smoke in the unfortunate event of fire. This system can be linked to BMS, Fire management systems, rain sensors or heat detectors and is fully tested to AS2665 AND AS2428. This ventilator is used in Workshops, Hangars, Defence projects, Storage facilities and distribution centres.
