SPUR® FIXED LOUVREs
OVERVIEW
Spur® Fixed Louvres come in a range of single, double and triple stage systems and provide a building with natural ventilation, air intake, air exhaust, privacy screening and facade aesthetics whilst offering a high level of rain defence. A suitable design solution is to incorporate a louvre system that balances a level of ventilation, pressure drop and rain defence.
Louvre systems are available in premade panels which gives a modular appearance, or in Kit form which allows uninterrupted continuous appearance. In addition to standard horizontal mounting method, louvre blade profiles can be inverted for privacy screening or mounted vertically.
Arcadia Spur® Fixed louvres are commonly incorporated into building types such as Industrial warehouses, manufacturing facilities, substations, cooling towers, carparks, hotel and apartment buildings, office blocks, hospitals, mine servicing facilities and processing buildings.

Spur® EL1
|
The Arcadia Spur® EL1 Series Single Stage fixed louvre is ideal for commercial and industrial applications and is available in a range of depths and sizes. There are a range of varying Louvre profiles to suit varying requirments for pressure drop, free area and rain defence. Arcadia Spur® EL1 Series can be specified in either modular panels or as a continuous system for an uninterrupted façade. Louvre profiles can be installed vertically, horizontally or inverted as a visual screen also. This Louvre system is simple and fast to install in component form. |
Spur® IEL1

The Spur® IEL Single stage louvre system is an excellent screening louvre, which has lower rain defence properties compared to other systems, however it is an integrated system which connects with the IEL 2 & 3 Stage louvre to provide one look, with varying banks of louvres. Unlike other louvres, this system is a clip system with no mechanical fixings and is recommended for Plant Screens and areaas with low requirments for rain defence. Spur® IEL can be specified in either modular panels or as a continuous system for an uninterrupted façade. Louvre profiles can be inverted as a visual screen also. This Louvre system is simple and fast to install in component form. |
Spur® EL1-WL

Where a project requires a more intense level of rain defence the Spur® EL1 WL is a market leader and offers an additional weather-lip system to reduce water penetration. The additional weather stops ensure any wind driven rain is stoped from passing the louvre, and draining water to the oustide of the opening. There are a range of varying Louvre profiles within the EL1 WL range to suit varying requirments for pressure drop, free area and rain defence. Spur® EL2

The Arcadia Spur® EL2 Double Stage fixed louvre is ideal for applications requiring additional weatherproofing/rain defence or an effective privacy screening solution which is ideal for plant screens to hide unsightly plant and mechanical equipment. This louvre type can be supplied in either modular panels or as a continuous application providing a seamless, uninterrupted façade. Spur® EL2 can be installed vertically or horizontally and has an excellent clear throat area for its style. It is recommended that if rain defence is paramount that a profile from the Spur ® three stage louvres be selected. |
Spur® IEL2

The Spur® IEL2 is part of the integrated system which connects with the IEL 1 & 3 Stage louvre to provide one look, with varying banks of louvres. Where area with increase levels of rain defence are required, the IEL 2stage Louvre can be integrated alongside IEL 1 or IEL 3 whilst having the same appearance. Areas which benefit from double stage louvres are Air inlet ducts, eletrical plant, HVAC areas, and wall louvres above ceilings. This louvre system is ideal for plant screens to hide unsightly plant and mechanical equipment and can be used in vertical or horizontal applications. It is recommended that if rain defence is paramount that a profile from the Spur ® three stage louvres be selected. |
Spur® EL3

Spur® EL3 Louvres provide unparalleled rain defence whilst considering the need for Pressure Drop performance and natural ventilation. Such Louvres are selected in buildings subject to high winds or elevations which historically receive wind driven rain. Arcadia Triple stage louvres catch the water and remove it via internal drains, gutters and sills whilst maintaining good levels of airflow. Electrical plantrooms, transformer rooms or water sensitive equipment are common areas which designers use these Louvre systems. Louvres are generally provided in pre-made modular It is recommended that if rain defence is paramount that a profile from the Spur ® three stage louvres be selected. |
Spur®IEL3

The Spur® IEL3 is part of the integrated system which connects with the IEL 1 & 2 Stage louvre to provide one look, with varying banks of louvres.
