Ashfield Aquatic Centre

In working tandem with FDC Group and Brewster Hjorth Architects, Arcadia is honored to be part of rebuilding one of Australia’s historic post-Olympic Games pools, now known as the Ashfield Aquatic Centre.

The Centre boasts a new landmark public artwork, drawing inspiration from the history and environment encapsulating the area, called ‘Ripple Through’. The beautiful abstract artwork was created by Georgia Hill, a local and world-renowned artist. Her expressive piece has been brought to life by Arcadia’s Spur®, modern aluminum powder coated louvres creating a bold yet contemporary statement piece.

This project also includes Arcadia’s wide range of Solar shading Zest® Blades and Spur® fixed louvre products, surrounding the Aquatic Centre - giving the brand new Centre a sophisticated sun-shading and screening solution.
