OVERVIEW

Zest® Sunblades provide modern feature to building facades, while controlling natural light, glare and providing significant reduction in heat loads and energy costs. Arcadia has an extensive selection of aluminium Sunblade profiles including Elliptical, bullet, rectangular, square, and a range of bespoke profiles. Arcadia offer electrically operable or fixed systems in both vertical and horizontal configuration. Studies over many years have proved that building & internal office performance has a close link to the levels of natural daylight.

Selecting an operable louvre range allows the Sunblades to rotate in synchronisation with the sunpath to reflect direct sunlight and glare, stopping the sun from heating up the facade. This results in reduced running costs & energy usage, improved office performance, access to views and enhanced levels of natural daylight.

Zest® Sunblades are engineered and designed to provide maximum efficiency, ultimate span capacity, and can be connected to buildings via a range of standard and bespoke fixing methods to suit your project needs. All products are Australian made, locally manufactured, engineered to AS1170.2 and tested and engineered for all regions of Australia including Cyclone regions.

Zest® Ellipsoid

Zest® range of ellipsoid solar shading blades are manufactured from extruded aluminium. This aerofoil profile has excellent spanning capcity and can be integrated to walls, glazing, steel via a range of endplates, glove bracket systems or in modular panels. The Zest® Ellipsoid louvre profile can be fixed or operable and can be linked to Arcadia Solar IQ sun tracker. Blades can be fixed horizontally vertically and at any selected pitch or angle. Arcadia can assist with loadings, span capacity, solar analysis and connection details.

Zest® Bullet

Zest® bullet solar shading blades are manufactured from extruded aluminium. This profile has excellent spanning capacity and can be integrated to walls, glazing, steel via a range of endplates, glove bracket systems or in modular panels. This system is most commonly used as a fixed solar shading system and can be fixed vertically or horizontally and at any selected pitch or angle. Arcadia can assist with loadings, span capacity, solar analysis and connection details.

Zest® Box

Zest® Box blades are a modular sunblade system manufactured from extruded aluminium. With a large range of widths and depths available the Zest® box blade provides a solid and striking look on building facades and can be used for solar shading as well as facade feature. Profiles can be connected with secret fix cleats, bracket connections, end plates or simple external cleat connections. Blades can be fixed or operable, mounted horizontally, vertically and at any selected pitch or angle. Arcadia can assist with loadings, span capacity, solar analysis and connection details.

Zest® Rounded Box

The Zest® Oval Box blade provides a unique look with extraordinary spanning capacity. This section is used in a staggered look facade system which has an integrated rod and hangar system. It is also commonly used as a fixed balcony screen system due to its strength and ability to achieve Balustrade conformance and loadings due to its strength. Blades can be fixed or operable, mounted horizontally, vertically and at any selected pitch or angle. Arcadia can assist with loadings, span capacity, solar analysis and connection details.

Zest® C Blade

The Zest®C profile is unique solar shading profile and provides excellent shading whilst maintaining views. This profile is manufactured from extruded aluminium and comes with a specialised mounting bracket system and allows the profile to be mounted to building facades.
